The closest thing I could think of when approaching the brief of “home from home” is a cup of tea. Depicted is shay Elwarda, and while I prefer shay el arosa; I felt the rose was a little more representative  of the universality of our visual language in the Swana region - widely understood symbols used in contexts that are unique in their DNA when seen
as a whole.

The fabric of our makings is one and
the same, when broken down it’s all
made up of the same stuff, tea is used
as a means of connection in England too.
And probably everywhere else in the world.
But it is a common thread that’s worlds
apart in actuality.
